When we’re the venue, you’ll be renting the locations as shells. In this case, you’ll receive the keys and be able go about your business.

When we’re the partner location, we’ll investigate together where we can strengthen each other. We can offer support in production, marketing and communication, creative translation of your concept, catering service or technical support. Thanks to our many years of international experience in the event industry, our team can draft up a fitting proposal for every organization.
Some of the historical factory buildings at Westergas are rented as shells, others with standard technology. It’s best to leave the entire coordination, administration and/or production of your event to one party. This makes it uncluttered, convenient and creates space for you to focus entirely on the content.
We advise you to roll with a production company that has experience with the location. Backbone International knows Westergas like the back of their hand. Bar Restaurant Kantoor
In the 3+ star hotel is the all-day restaurant Bar Kantoor. This is your go-to place for affordable, high quality food – breakfast, lunch and dinner. Everything that’s served is 100% biological, even their delicious cocktails. This is the only office where you’ll love doing overtime – and in summertime, you can do so on the grand terrace, with the BBQ.
Visitors to your event need to feel safe and be safe. Logical, you want them to enjoy themselves to the full. That is why good security is crucial. Not too present, but certainly not too absent.
Risk Safety & Security is a specialist in the field of security, crowd control and fire safety and has extensive experience with event security. The experience ranges from large dance events to (small-scale) events. Risk employees are service oriented, representative and hospitable at every level, whereby everyone’s safety comes first.
Risk can also support in the preliminary process in the area of permits, consultation with the municipality and police and drawing up a risk analysis + safety and evacuation plan.
Risk is in possession of the Security Hallmark and the Event Security Hallmark, which guarantees good organisation and the highest degree of integrity. With these qualities they fit well with Westergas.

Visitors of Westergas can freely use WiFi in all the event buildings and most of the surrounding park. That makes Westergas/Westerpark the first park in the Netherlands which offers free WiFi with this capacity and coverage. Something we’re proud of.
System management, internet services, data traffic, on-site internet and event-WiFI are important digital topics for both small and large events. Partner VBVB or Event Engineers offer complete ICT- support. They take care of temporary infrastructures or complete internet services and service management.
Is our default wireless network not sufficient for the event? Think about Event WiFi: guaranteed great internet coverage, at all times and all over the place.
Bike
The best thing is of course if you come by bike! There are plenty of bicycle parking spaces on site.

From the Ring Road A10: take exit S103/S104 (Haarlem) and drive over the Haarlemmerweg in the direction of Centrum. On your left hand side, you’ll see the Westergas.
From Schiphol: take the A4 in the direction of Amsterdam (Ring Road A10) and take the exit S103 in the direction of Centrum, down the Haarlemmerweg. On your left hand side, you’ll see the Westergas.

From Amsterdam Central Station, you take Bus 21. Get off at the stop Van Hallstraat/Westergasfabriek. At night, Bus 283 goes from and to Central Station from the stop Van Limburg Stirumstraat.
Are you traveling from Amsterdam-Centrum? Take tram 3 and get off at Van Limburg Stirumplein or the stop Van Hallstraat/Westergasfabriek.
