For many years, Westergas has been a household name in Amsterdam. In 2018, the Westergasfabriek buildings changed their names to Westergas. Same site, new energy: the Cultural District of Amsterdam. Today, three of the 17 monumental buildings can be rented as event venues: the Gashouder, the Transformatorhuis and the Meterhuisje. The remaining buildings house several permanent tenants.
