Westergas does not provide this itself, but we do have many great partners we work with, from caterers to security.

All venues are delivered as shells. The Gashouder has an entrance, restrooms, backstage area, basic LED lighting and air handling units.

The Transformatorhuis provides restrooms, a backstage area and a basic tech set.

In the Gashouder, there is limited daylight available. The Transformatorhuis has large tall windows allowing daylight to enter. The Meterhuisje has many windows and therefor offers a lot of natural light.

By public transport, bicycle and car. Are you coming from the surrounding areas? Then of course we encourage you to come by bike to make your visit more sustainable.

Culture Park Westergas is car-free. This means that you may not enter the park with your own car. Loading and offloading is allowed.

You can park at several parking garages such as Q-Park Westerpark, parkeergarage Willemspoort, parkeergarage Bos en Lommer and P+R Sloterdijk.

Business guests of Westergas can purchase value cards for Q-park Westerpark through Westergas. These can be ordered through our account manager up to ten days prior to the event date.

Parking garage Q-Park Westergasfabriek has six electric charging points. Willemspoort has twelve electric charging points. P+R Sloterdijk has one electric charging point.

You certainly can. Westergas has more than nine restaurants in the Cultural Disctrict. A delicious sandwich or quiche at the Bakkerswinkel, French cuisine at Cantine de Caron, typical Dutch mussels at Mossel & Gin. You can also enjoy lunch or dinner with a view of the Gashouder at Westergasterras. You name it, we got it. Check out all the restaurants here and don’t hesitate to make a reservation right away.

Believe it or not, but even that is possible at Westergas. Across from the big grass field you’ll find the beautiful Conscious Hotel where you can reminisce on your visit to Westergas in a spacious hotel room. The hotel has 89 rooms. Visit the website here for more information.

Yes, Westergas and Westerpark are both public.

Yes Cultural District Westergas is open day and night.

A doorman is present 24/7 at the entrance to the park near the Westergas bridge. There are security cameras at the park as well.

In some cases this is possible. However, there are some conditions for this. This can be discussed in the run-up to the event with one of our account managers or location managers.

Free WiFi is available in almost the entire Westerpark. You can use this by connecting to Westergas Free WiFi. There are private lines available through partners.

The Meterhuisje is intended for long-term rental for a minimum of one month. This makes it an ideal place for pop-ups and intimate events.

The Meterhuisje is available to rent for a minimum of one month. In addition, there are ‘fixed locations’ on the grounds for long-term rentals. In case you want to permanently stay with your business on the Westergas grounds, there are a number of permanent locations available for rent.

A taxi-loop can be arranged. Should you require this, this can be discussed with one of our account managers leading up to the event.

The Gashouder, the Transformatorhuis and the Meterhuisje are wheelchair accessible, it varies per event whether it is wheelchair accessible. Please contact the organization for this.

This is not possible. Group buses can pick people up and drop them off at the Van Hallstraat/Westergasfabriek bus stop. However, buses cannot stay here and there is only room for one bus at a time.

Als Accountmanager bij Westergas vervul je binnen het commerciële segment van de programmering en zakelijke verhuur een essentiële rol in het beheren en proactief uitbreiden van de klanten voor de evenementenlocaties van ons Cultuurdorp waaronder de Gashouder het Transformatorhuis.

Westergas heeft een zeer diverse klantenkring uit culturele en commerciële branches met evenementen als (kunst) beurzen, festivals, modeshows, filmproducties, dance evenementen, fundraisers en business events als productpresentaties en beurzen. 

Naast accountmanagement en het werven van nieuwe klanten ben je verantwoordelijk voor de sales en omzet van aanverwante diensten en producten zoals techniek, security en catering. Dit doe je in samenwerking met een divers team van enthousiaste collega’s en partners. Je werkt op basis van gestelde targets die met het team nastreeft binnen de culturele kaders en kernwaarden van Westergas: creativiteit, vrijheid, diversiteit en toegankelijkheid. Als onderdeel van de afdeling Account werk je nauw samen met jouw afdelingsvertegenwoordiger en leggen jullie verantwoording af aan het zelforganiserende team.

Parttime (minimaal 36 uur per week).

Verantwoordelijkheden: 

• Realiseren van omzettargets en sales conform de pijlers en de positionering van Westergas. 
• Klanttevredenheid waarborgen en verhogen. 
• Optimaliseren van de bezetting van de gebouwen met passende klanten binnen kunst, cultuur en commerciële klanten.  
• Accurate verwerking van aanvragen en reserveringen in SEM. 

Kwalificaties en vaardigheden: 

 Kennis: 

• Minimaal HBO werk- en denkniveau. 
• Ervaring met Smart Event Manager software, of vergelijkbare eventmanagementsoftware. 
• Minimaal 5 jaar ervaring in sales/accountmanagement bij voorkeur in de (zakelijke) evenementenbranche. 
• Uitstekende beheersing van minimaal Nederlands en Engels, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk. 
• Kennis van de markt en recente ontwikkelingen en een bijbehorend netwerk. 

Vaardigheden: 

• Commercieel inzicht en een affiniteit met kunst en cultuur.   
• Zelfstandig en gestructureerd werken.
